About Bellamy’s Organic

Bellamy’s was founded by a Tasmanian family in 2004 wanting to provide a convenient nutritious organic choice for their children. We offer a range of organic food and formula products for babies, toddlers and young children, with over 30 products in our range from birth to early childhood.

A pure start to life

We believe a pure start to life means providing your little one with uncomplicated nutrition – good food that is straightforward, wholesome & nutritious. Our pursuit will always be to provide pure food that nourishes the gentle tummies of the little ones in our lives.

Mindful eating

Our mantra is mindful eating from the very beginning. It simply means being aware of what we eat and teaching our children good eating habits right from the start. We believe instilling healthy mindful food choices sets your baby off on the path to healthy mindful eating so that they continue to grow into healthy happy children and adults.

Certified organic

Choosing certified organic provides peace of mind that you’re feeding your child a product that hasn’t been produced with harmful chemicals. All our products are certified by NASAA, the nation’s leading organic certifier.

It’s about what’s not used in the production of certified organic ingredients:

  • NO Chemical Pesticides
(includes no synthetic insecticides, herbicides or fungicides in growing or manufacturing)
  • NO Chemical Fertilisers
(no synthetic fertilisers used in growing)
  • NO Artificial Additives
(no artificial additives used in our foods)
  • NO Hormones
  • NO Genetically Modified Organisms

Australian made

All of the products in our range are made and packed in Australia, which means they maintain some of the highest food safety requirements of anywhere in the world. Families both inside and outside of Australia can have confidence that when they buy Australian made they can expect a high quality product.

Quality ingredients

We want to feed your babies what you would feed them yourselves – honest, fresh, high quality, certified organic ingredients, made with straightforward preparation that maintains goodness and keeps food as close to the real deal as possible.

Our ingredients are sourced with a commitment to using the very freshest, high quality, certified organic ingredients. Where possible, we endeavour to source these ingredients within Australia and Australia is always our first choice, however this is not always possible given the nature of organic ingredients. We will always look to local ingredient sources and keep it as close to home wherever possible, but go where we need to in order to maintain our commitment.

All organic food has been made with ecological, economic and social sustainability in mind, extending to all facets of making organic foods in particular our ingredients, packaging and storage. Because our products are certified organic you can be sure that the ingredients we use only abide by the highest standards of production and sustainable farming practices.

Uncomplicated nutrition

We approach nutrition from a whole-of-diet methodology, supported by fact and science. We believe in providing a wide variety of foods from the main food groups, as each food group provides the different nutrients essential for health and development of children.

and sponsorship

Bellamy’s believe in giving back, and that’s why our company has a proud history of donating funds, time and resourcing into charities, research and community groups. Bellamy’s Organic’s primary sponsorship is with Clown Doctors™ Australia.

Important Notice to Parents and Guardians

  • The World Health Organisation recommends that breastfeeding is best for your baby.
  • Having a balanced diet when breastfeeding is also important. Baby formulas should only be used after you’ve sought advice from a doctor or health practitioner.
  • A decision not to breastfeed can be difficult to reverse and introducing partial bottle feeding may reduce the supply of breast milk. It is also wise to consider the cost of infant formula.
  • If you use infant formula, all preparation and feeding instructions must be followed as per the manufacturer’s instructions. This is important for your baby’s health.
