NEW FOOD PACKAGING IN STORE NOW

From August 2018, customers will notice our rebranded food packaging start to appear on shelf in all major stockists.

We are excited to announce our new packaging will start to appear on shelf from August 2018. This transition to new packaging will occur over a number of months. During this time there will be a mix of current and new packaging on shelf.

There are no major changes to these products, in some instances there is a small name change or slight recipe improvement, see below for the full details.

Products purchased via the website will be delivered to customers in our old packaging until the end of October. From November, products ordered from the website will be delivered in the new packaging.

Please note, our Infant Formula packaging will not be rebranded until later in 2019.

Bellamy’s Root Vegetable Winter Soup
  • 4 servings

Description

Serve with some finely chopped parsley to garnish.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1leek, finely chopped
  • 2-3 medium carrots, finely diced
  • 1-2 celery stalks, finely diced
  • 1/2 small celeriac, peeled and finely diced in to 1cmx1cm pieces
  • 1 fresh bay leaf
  • 2L organic chicken or vegetable broth
  • 100g Bellamy’s spelt macaroni
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 20g unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Heat the butter and oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and leek. Cook for about 10-minutes or until softened.
  3. Add the carrots, celery, celeriac and bay leaf.
  4. Cook for an additional 10-minutes, stirring from time to time.
  5. Add broth and potatoes and simmer gently for 20 minutes.
  6. Add the spelt macaroni and cook for a further 8 minutes, or until pasta is cooked.
  7. Removed bay leaf and add a little salt to taste.

Notes / Tips

Serve with some finely chopped parsley to garnish.
